Africa
has been beset by human rights violations for decades:
horrific wars, dictatorships, drugs and exploitation in
various forms. As
a result we live on one of the wealthiest continents on
earth yet we are afflicted with poverty, drugs, AIDS,
crime and strife. The future must be redefined and a better
understanding achieved by all Africans of their valuable
inheritance.
By broadly increasing awareness
of the principals embodied in agreements such as the South
African Bill of Rights and the United Nations universal
Declaration of Human Rights, and creating awareness of
the value of morals and a drug-free life, the Foundation
is dedicated to changing the way people view their rights
and their personal responsibilities. Such agreements offer
a peaceful weapon for people to use to bring a better
way of life.
The Foundation takes it’s
message of to all levels of government, and to the citizens
who continue to suffer from human rights violations and
discrimination - often in spite of their countries being
signatories to the United Nations Universal Declaration
of Human Rights. |
| Human
Rights and “Truth
About Drugs” education
is delivered every day
by the programmes supported
by the Foundation.
Projects
are currently being
run in
Johannesburg, Pretoria
and Cape Town.
